Sounds of Summer 2026 Arlington Heights: Veranda Pass at Metropolis Ballroom

Summer nights in downtown Arlington Heights are about to get loud again — in the best possible way.

The Sounds of Summer 2026 Arlington Heights concert series officially returns to Harmony Park this June, bringing twelve weeks of live music, tribute bands, dancing, and packed Thursday nights to the heart of downtown Arlington Heights.

And once again, Metropolis Ballroom is bringing back the fan-favorite Veranda Pass experience - the best way to enjoy the Sounds of Summer Concert Series with rooftop views, indoor air conditioning, handcrafted drinks, and fresh food just steps away from the music.

Because let’s be honest: lawn chairs are great until you’re carrying them three blocks in 87-degree weather.

Why Guests Love the Veranda Pass

The Veranda Pass became one of the most talked-about experiences during last year’s concert season because it offers something many outdoor concerts don’t:

Comfort.

Instead of crowded lawn seating, guests enjoy:

  • Rooftop concert views

  • Indoor AC access

  • Easy access to drinks and food

  • Space to move throughout the evening

  • A more elevated atmosphere overall

It’s still the same live music experience Arlington Heights loves — just with significantly fewer folding chairs involved.
